We are located in the Industrial Zone of DingXiang County, Shanxi Province. Our major products include Municipal Castings(停頓加強), such as Cast Iron & Ductile Iron Manhole Covers(停頓加強), Gratings(停頓加強), Pipe Fittings(停頓加強), Manhole Steps(停頓加強), Bollards(停頓加強), Tree Gratings(停頓加強), Rainwater System (停頓加強)& OEM Industrial Castings(停頓加強). SYI Foundry is the fist Manhole Cover manufacturer in China that has been awarded BSI Kitemark Certificate. We also keep German TUV ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System(停頓加強), British BSI QMS(停頓加強), French NF Product Certificate(停頓加強), American FM Certificate(停頓加強), American UL Listed(停頓加強) & etc. We have been appointed Private Science & Technology Enterprise in June of 2011, and Advanced Foreign Invested Exporter in 2011, 2010, 2009, 2008 and 2007, and Annual Top Taxpayer in 2013, 2012, 2011, 2010, 2009, 2008, 2007 and 2006, and Top 50 Private Enterprise in Xinzhou City, and Employee Professional Ethics Pacesetter Enterprise in 2007, and Proven Enterprise with Safety Production Conditions in 2013. SYI Foundry covers an area of 50,000 ㎡. We have two Automatic Moulding Lines(停頓加強), professional Physical and Chemical analysis lab(停頓加強), Optical Spectrum Analyzer(停頓加強), 3 Core Shooters(停頓加強), Mould Making Center(停頓加強), CNC Machining Center(停頓加強), Epoxy Powder Coating Line(停頓加強), Spinning Machines(停頓加強) and other advanced equipments and facilities. Our annual capacity is 30,000 tons. Our Company has 4 sets of 5-ton Water Cooling Hot-Air Cupolas(停頓加強), 3 sets of Electric Furnaces(停頓加強) and their Automatic Feeding & Dust Pelletizing System(停頓加強). Mould making is the first link and core project in casting industry. The whole process is determined through contract audit and drawings study. From foam making, aluminum poring, raw mould forming, until CNC machining, we combine the traditional manual mould making and modern machining processes, operate with precision, control with procedure, so as to guarantee to fulfill the customers’ requirements and needs. Sand Mixing System is fully automatic controlled. SYI Foundry regards Sand Mixing as one of the key part of our production. We have strict requirements on the moulding sand. The tests include moisture content(停頓加強), breathability(停頓加強), thermal & humidity tensile strength(停頓加強), degree of solidity(停頓加強) and efficient clay content(停頓加強) etc. We carry out 4 times of sampling every shift. The results are to be reported to the foreman of the production workshop timely to make necessary adjustment and satisfy the speed and quality of the moulding sand. Pipe fitting cores are made by the core shooters with hot core boxes. In this way, the pipe fittings made are with smooth inner surface, precise dimensions and especially machining free at the socket areas. And all these reduce procedures, increase efficiency and lower the costs. Moulding shop consists of 2 parts: Automatic Machinery Moulding and Manual Moulding. The moulding machines are Model Z148E which is nimble, swift, sturdy and durable. The entire moulding operation takes only 1 minute per part. Our 2 annular moulding lines are able to make parts under 1000mm×9000mm and 800mm×750mm. The manual moulding area is 4000 ㎡, that plays the supporting role. Products dimensions are from 100mm to 2000mm, so it is with high adaptability. Manual moulding resolves the problem of some parts that cannot be made with the machine moulding line, such as parts with weight below 15 kg or with dimensions over the moulding board of the lines. Many complicated parts can only be made by Hand Moulding too. Spheroidization must be conducted while the temperature of the molten iron is above 1450℃. Poring must be done within 12 minutes so as to avoid spheroidization decay. As per casting terminology, the cupola is the heart; the lab is the eyes. SYI Foundry invested a big sum of money in test equipments, and guaranteeing on time calibration. Now we have chemical composition Optical Spectrum Analyzer(停頓加強), Polishing Machine(停頓加強), metallurgical microscope(停頓加強), Tensile Strength Testing Machine(停頓加強), hardness meter(停頓加強), Carbon-Sulphur Analyzer(停頓加強), Spectrophotometer(停頓加強), heating oven(停頓加強), baking oven(停頓加強) & other instruments and equipments. Thus we can guarantee the completeness and precision of the testing. We do chemical composition analysis on every batch of raw material. And for products, we do metallurgical analysis, spectrum-chemical analysis, tensile and hardness analysis for Every Heat. All semi-finished parts are stocked separately and cannot be mixed until the test results prove. Therefore, we guarantee that all the semi-finished products finding their way to next procedure are qualified ones, and we eliminate the unqualified parts from the very beginning. Sand cleaning is to remove all the impurities other than the castings themselves. We have one big sized passing-through shot blasting machine, one hanging shot blasting machine and one crawler shot blasting machine. Inspectors at this procedure visually check the products one by one. At the grinding area, QC department conducts test on each set of post-grinding products. Inspection key points are if the products, after forming a complete set, in accordance with drawings and the clients’ requirements, especially if there is rocking of the cover within the frame. Qualified products are all marked Green. For manhole covers and gratings, permanent set test and load test are the biggest guarantees on quality. We have one 1300KN（加強） and one 500KN load test machine（加強）. So it is guaranteed that we can load test all products, A15、B125、C250、D400、E600 & F900. Our load test rate is 1/500. We can load test covers to all standards. Also, for pipe fittings, hydraulic test is the key on quality. We test 100% of the pipe fittings. Holes on pipe fittings are to be drilled after hydraulic test. The traditional method is to drill one hole a time with the drilling machine. That is with low efficiency and low precision. We use multi-axle group drilling machines and so all the holes on one surface can be drilled at one time. Efficiency has been improved by 5-6 times and precision has been extremely improved. With the growing focus on environmental protection, beside the basic traditional bitumen paint, we have gradually used non-toxic and harmless water-base paint. In the mean time, we have invested hundreds of thousands of Yuan, building up the baking paint line which is the first class in industry. As well as the capacity of water-base paint spraying, we have the capacity of epoxy paint of 400μthickness. Trucks of products go out across the world, with the good wishes of our SYI people.
